Privacy Policy

Checking purchasing availability…

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal information CALIADNE collects through caliadne.com.au, why we collect it, how we look after it and the choices available to you.

1. Who we are

CALIADNE is operated by Phoenix 33 Pty Ltd (ABN 31 685 654 488), Australia. These documents use “CALIADNE” to refer to our digital wellness brand, and “we”, “us” and “our” to refer to its operator, Phoenix 33 Pty Ltd.

You can contact us about privacy at any time at hello@caliadne.com.au.

We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:

  • Contact details, such as your name and email address.
  • Account details, such as your email address and basic profile information if you sign in with Google. Password sign-in is handled by our authentication service; CALIADNE cannot view your password.
  • The content of messages you send us through the Contact form or by email.
  • Purchase and order records — for example the products purchased, price, date and download access records.
  • Technical information needed to run and secure the website, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

Because our Contact form accepts free text, you may choose to share sensitive information, such as health information. Please share only what is needed for your enquiry. If you do include such information, we will use it only to respond to you and will handle it with care.

3. How we collect information

We collect personal information directly from you when you create an account, sign in, contact us or, where checkout is offered, make a purchase. Some technical information is collected automatically by our hosting and security systems when you visit the website. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your basic profile information (such as name and email address) with us under its own terms.

4. Accounts and sign-in

You can create an account with an email address and password, or sign in using Google. Account and authentication data are stored by our cloud database and authentication provider. Passwords are not visible to us. For verified purchases, your account provides My Library and secure access to your purchased PDFs.

5. Contact enquiries and support

When you send an enquiry through our Contact form, we store your name, email address, subject and message securely in our private cloud database so that we can respond. These records are accessible only to authorised administrators. We request an email notification to hello@caliadne.com.au after saving the enquiry; it contains a reference, not your message or personal details. Notification failure does not remove your saved enquiry. We may reply from hello@caliadne.com.au.

6. Newsletter

If you explicitly opt in to The Caliadne Letter by ticking the marketing consent box, we save your email address, the time of consent, the exact consent wording and version, the single-opt-in method and the signup source privately. No confirmation email is required. Your consent covers roughly weekly Journal updates and occasional launch, news and product emails. Contact enquiries and purchases do not enrol you in the newsletter. When welcome delivery is enabled, only consented, non-suppressed future subscribers are transferred to The Caliadne Letter in Brevo and receive a one-time welcome. Weekly campaigns require separate approval. The future 7-Day Reset is not currently delivered.

You can withdraw consent using the personal unsubscribe link in your welcome email or by emailing hello@caliadne.com.au. The link records your opt-out privately before requesting provider suppression. Provider opt-outs are also checked before each welcome and reconciled periodically. Duplicate signup does not overwrite consent or reverse an opt-out. We retain minimal transfer, welcome reservation and provider acceptance records with consent records to prevent duplicate emails and respect opt-outs. Provider acceptance is not proof of inbox delivery.

7. Purchases and payments

Where checkout is offered, Stripe, via Link, provides payment services for eligible transactions under the payment terms shown at checkout. Stripe/Link handles payment information, billing and payment receipts or invoices; CALIADNE receives the order, customer and payment-status information needed to fulfil your purchase and provide support. We do not store full card details. Stripe/Link may act as an independent controller for payment, fraud prevention and legal compliance, and as a processor where applicable under its own privacy terms. We keep order and access records for delivery, support, legal obligations and consumer guarantee requests.

8. How we use personal information

  • To provide and secure your account and My Library.
  • To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
  • To process verified orders and deliver purchased digital products.
  • To send marketing emails only where you have agreed to receive them, once the newsletter is available.
  • To maintain, protect and improve the website.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

9. Service providers

We use the following providers to operate the website. Their roles depend on the service; some also handle information for their own legal and security obligations:

  • Lovable (Lovable Cloud) — website platform, hosting, customer accounts and sign-in, database (including Contact enquiries and newsletter consent), private file storage, and branded account emails and owner enquiry notifications. Our database and file storage are hosted on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in Singapore.
  • Cloudflare — delivers the website through its global network, which may process technical information (such as IP address and browser details) at a location near you.
  • Google — optional Google sign-in, and Google Fonts, which supplies the website's typefaces and receives your IP address and browser details when pages load. When configured and only after analytics acceptance, Google Analytics also receives neutral page and catalogue codes, pseudonymous short-lived browser/session identifiers, shopping events and verified purchase amounts with opaque transaction identifiers through our server. We do not forward customer details, actual page addresses, referrers, browser IP addresses or payment/access credentials to Google Analytics. No Google Analytics browser script or cookies are installed. Withdrawal and GPC/Do Not Track stop future reporting; submitted events cannot be recalled. Google may process analytics outside Australia under its privacy terms at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Stripe/Link — selected payment provider for checkout, billing, receipts or invoices, fraud prevention and transaction support. Stripe/Link handles payment information under its own privacy terms at stripe.com/privacy and link.com/privacy.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — optional advertising measurement, only after you explicitly accept advertising in Privacy choices. When accepted, the Meta Pixel runs only inside an isolated, topic-free frame on our site. It sends page views for general pages (home, shop, about, contact, FAQ and legal pages) and shopping events (product viewed, added to cart, checkout started, purchase) with neutral catalogue codes and AUD values, and sets Meta browser cookies (_fbp). The frame cannot report the address, title or referrer of the page you are viewing, and automatic advanced matching is off. Withdrawing removes the frame and these cookies on that device. After a verified purchase, our server may report the order total in Australian dollars, neutral catalogue codes, permitted browser identifiers, IP address and browser type. No names, email addresses, product URLs or Journal reading activity are shared. Reporting requires both the order’s acceptance evidence and the latest advertising choice to remain accepted and unexpired. Meta may process information outside Australia under its privacy terms at facebook.com/privacy/policy/.
  • Microsoft 365 — our business email service for hello@caliadne.com.au, used when you email us or we reply to you.

Your browser also stores essential information on your own device, such as your sign-in session and cart. When newsletter delivery is enabled, Brevo processes consented subscriber email addresses for welcome delivery and unsubscribe/suppression handling under its privacy terms at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy/. Its processing locations may include countries outside Australia.

10. Cookies, browser storage and analytics

We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember items in your cart on your device. Our website platform may collect technical visit and usage information to operate, secure and understand use of the website. Where enabled, Lovable's built-in visitor analytics reports aggregate visits and page views using a temporary visit identifier, without analytics cookies or browser storage; visits are not linked to your signed-in account.

Our optional first-party analytics records neutral page and catalogue codes, cart changes, checkout intent, device class and grouped referral channels after analytics consent. Random browser and session identifiers are not linked to account identities in visitor reports; sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity and analytics records are retained for up to 90 days. Campaign names are not collected. No raw URLs or query strings are stored in first-party reports. Consented session references may be linked to verified orders for private aggregate conversion and revenue reporting. No email, name, IP, payment credential or download link is included in browser analytics. Withdrawal clears analytics identifiers and stops future collection; previously collected aggregate evidence is not recalled. Metricool is our optional website analytics provider. Its script loads only after you explicitly accept analytics in our privacy choices. It measures visits to public pages using the page URL, browser window size and referring page when available; requests also disclose technical information such as your IP address to Metricool. We exclude private account, checkout and administrator pages, URLs with query strings or fragments, and sensitive referring URLs. The inspected tracker does not set analytics cookies or browser storage. Metricool may process information outside Australia under its privacy terms at metricool.com/privacy-policy/.

Accepting or rejecting analytics does not affect shopping, payments, sign-in or newsletter consent. We save your versioned choice and its time in essential local browser storage for 180 days. You can reject analytics or withdraw consent at any time through Privacy choices in the footer. Withdrawal stops future Metricool events immediately; it cannot recall a request already sent. We also respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals by keeping Metricool off. Existing platform analytics and essential services are unchanged.

Meta advertising measurement is separately optional and stays off until you accept advertising in Privacy choices. It never includes your name, email address, account details or newsletter activity, and it never names products or wellness topics: purchase events use neutral catalogue codes and Australian dollar values, with permitted technical browser identifiers, IP address and browser type for advertising measurement and optimisation. Accepting or rejecting advertising does not affect shopping, payments, sign-in, analytics or newsletter consent. We save your versioned advertising choice and its time in essential local browser storage for 180 days, and you can withdraw at any time through Privacy choices in the footer. We record advertising acceptance and withdrawal privately, including the notice version and wording, decision time and an anonymous choice reference. An online withdrawal is recorded before confirmation and prevents subsequent server reporting, including orders already awaiting payment. If a connection fails, advertising stays off on the device and the withdrawal is retained for submission when connectivity returns; server reporting cannot know an offline change until it is received. Withdrawal cannot recall events already sent. Browser Meta tracking is disabled. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep advertising measurement off.

11. Storage and security

Personal information is stored using our cloud provider's secure, access-controlled systems. Contact enquiries are held in a private database table that cannot be read from the public website, and paid product files are kept in private storage rather than at public web addresses. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

12. Overseas storage and disclosure

Your personal information is not stored only in Australia. Account details, Contact enquiries and our private files are stored in Singapore. Lovable, Cloudflare, Google, Microsoft and Stripe/Link are international providers and may process information in other countries where they or their sub-processors operate, including the United States and the European Union; their exact processing locations can vary and are not always disclosed to us. We choose established providers and take reasonable steps to ensure information disclosed overseas is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

13. Keeping and deleting information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Contact enquiries — kept for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact with you, unless a longer period is needed to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation.
  • Customer accounts — kept while your account is active. When it is no longer needed, or you ask us to close it, we delete or de-identify it, except for records we must keep by law.
  • Newsletter consent records — kept until you unsubscribe. We may keep a minimal record of your unsubscribe request so that we do not email you again.
  • Orders and financial records — kept for the periods required by Australian tax and record-keeping laws (generally five years).
  • Download activity — when you request a download from My Library, we record your account, the order, the product and edition, and the time a secure link was issued. This does not record whether a file was saved, and does not include the link itself or your IP address. We use it to support your access, handle refund requests and respond to payment disputes, and keep it with the related order records.

We carry out deletion when records reach the end of these periods or on request; it is not an automatic process.

14. Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@caliadne.com.au. We may need to verify your identity first. We will respond within a reasonable time, and if we cannot fulfil a request — for example because we must keep certain records by law — we will explain why.

15. Privacy complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please email hello@caliadne.com.au with details. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

16. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the website develops, for example when checkout or the newsletter launches. The updated version will be published on this page with its effective date.
